TERMS

Full payment is required when an order is placed. No work will proceed on custom orders until payment is received and cleared. Custom item(s) will be created based on the information provided during ordering and shipped to the address that you designated. You will have an opportunity to request changes as necessary before any work has started.

Custom Orders

As the customer, you are 100% responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Please review all inputs carefully before submitting. Double check garment size and spelling prior to submission. Layout will be based on product images provided on the store item.

Change requests are handled in the order that they are received. We will make the changes and email confirmation of change request. Once final production process begins, no further changes can be made. Your order will be created based solely on specific inputs you provided during the ordering process.

Changing Custom Orders Once the Production Process Has Begun

Custom Orders
Once we have received a custom order, no changes are allowed to the artwork, design, clothing size, job characteristics, or turnaround time. Change requests after production has begun will be assesed a minimum charge of $100. No exceptions. It does not matter how minor the change may seem or how soon after the order has been PLACED. In some circumstances, a change request may be subject to the full price of a new garment/order.

Non-Custom Orders
If you want to change a non-custom order once we have started making it, there will be a 30% restocking fee because we have to restock the item that we started making for you and start the process all over again making your new item.

Turnaround Time

We start counting the turnaround time when we receive full payment.

Normal estimated 15, 30, or 45 business day production time: Once the final order has been placed our estimated production time is approximately 15, 30, or 45 business days depending on what item you ordered. Estimated production time can be found on the items page under the description section. Production time is an estimate, not a guarantee. Your order could be completed a few days sooner or a few days later than the estimated date. Shipping time is not included in the estimated production time. Upon request, we can work to meet a specific timeline for certain projects; however, again these times are not guaranteed. Business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays do not count when calculating turnaround time. Group orders may take longer than the estimated turnaround time. Items ordered during peak season (between April-July) may take longer than the estimated turnaround time. Greek Ego assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive an order on time. Our estimated delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, inclement weather, etc. Greek Ego also assumes no responsibility for production delays due to email server problems.

All turnaround times exclude delays as a result of natural disasters and/or material shortages.

Photo Release

The customer consents to this release: I grant to Greek Ego the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs taken of me or in which I may be included with others, without compensation, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if the company so chooses. I release and discharge Greek Ego and its affiliates from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Greek Ego.

Indemnification

The customer will indemnify and hold harmless Greek Ego and its affiliates from any and all losses, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions, and proceeding that may be instituted against Greek Ego on the grounds alleging that said designs or artwork violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person or entity.

All images displayed on this site are requested by customers for their personal use. Any similarity between the images contained herein and any person’s likeness or any company trademark or logo is purely coincidental. Greek Ego assumes no liability or responsibility to determine whether a customer has secured consent from any party for the use of their image, logo or trademark. The customer absorbs sole responsibility for securing usage rights for all copyrighted artwork.

The customer represents that all materials utilized by the seller in the distribution of the merchandise described in this web site (specifically including, but not limited to, the Greek Organization’s letters, crests, coat of arms, logos, school or university references, insignias, or other designs) will not cause or result in the violation of any law, judicial decision, rule, regulation, ordinance, licensing, franchise or similar agreements, informal or formal, oral or written, relating to trademarks, service marks, copyrights, patents, etc.

The customer further represents that he/she has the free, full, and unqualified right and authority to purchase and grants the seller the rights to sell all of the materials described on this web site. The customer acknowledges that the seller shall assume no liability for compliance or non-compliance with said laws, rules, agreements, etc. The seller hereby disclaims all such liability, if any.

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold seller harmless from and against any loss, costs, fees, fines, licensing fees, penalties, damage, and/or assessment, or other expenses (including any attorney fees which may be incurred by seller) which may arise as a result of the sellers application, fabrication, and/or production of materials described on this web site.

The products contained on the web site are for demonstration purposes only and do not indicate or imply that any such designs, logos, or names may be reproduced without proper authorization or permission. Certain national Fraternities & Sororities require official licensed vendors to pay royalty fees on purchases. Some customized products may not be available (due to licensing agreements and/or other availability issues) for all organizations.

Greek Organization disclaimer

“Buyer acknowledges, understands and agrees (hereinafter collectively “agrees”) that he/she is an Authorized Buyer only if buying goods bearing logos, designs, copyrights and trademarks for an Greek Organization member.  Buyer agrees that a non-member is not allowed to own, wear or possess such items.

Buyer also agrees that purchasing Sorority or Fraternity goods for any other reason is prohibited and doing so under false pretense authorizes Sorority or Fraternity to immediately (1) remove the goods from the internet and all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, ebay, amazon.com, etsy.com (hereinafter collectively “Third Party”) and (2)repossess such good(s) from Buyer and Third Party trying to sell them. Buyer agrees to waive its First Sale Doctrine right to subsequently sell any item(s), bearing a Greek Organization Mark.”

The Greek Ego Brand

We reserve the right to brand garments with the Greek Ego logo. We intentionally make the Greek Ego Logo small and inconspicuous so that it does not interfere with or draw attention away from the garment’s design. The Greek Ego brand signifies your paraphernaila/apparel authenticity and quality. The brand is usually semi-hidden on the inside of the garment.

Company Cancellations

Greek Ego reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at any time for any reason.
